Lara Dutta is promoting vegetarianism for PETA India in a new advertisement campaign in which she appears attired in a Gavin Miguel dress made of what nature has given humanity. She is promoting a veggie lifestyle hoping to create awareness among crowds. Vegetarianism, she says, enhances health, clear thinking, protects animals and the environment.
Vegetarians indeed display lower rates of cardiac disease, cancer and diabetes. The meat production industry not only treats animals poorly but also consumes countless resources such as land and water, additionally contributing significantly to global warming. So... are you ready to take the veg pledge?
