In a new venture after his success, Revolver Rani, Sai Kabir will continue to develop his creative relationship with French Film Commission's Franck Priot, with whom he worked to create his Kangna Ranaut hit. It is this French partner who has also paired Kabir with Leonard Glowinski (co-producer of Oliver Stone's Alexander as well as 2011 release Unknown, starring Liam Neeson and Diane Kruger).
The film, which will be titled Divine Lovers and will likely feature Irrfan Khan and Kangna Ranaut in the lead roles. Audiences should not expect this film to be in the same vein as Revolver Rani, the film director has expressed. Divine Lovers will be based upon the Indian Dream and what it entails for a corrupt middle-class, with a melancholic love story thrown in the mix to spice it all up.
Here is wishing for the successful production and release of this Indo-French venture and hoping it is also a stepping stone for many such projects.
